35th Annual Interfaith Blood Drive

35th Annual Interfaith Blood Drive:

The 35th annual Interfaith Blood Drive will take place on Saturday, June 29, from 8:00- 2:00 at Grace Lutheran Church, 4441 Monroe St. This special blood drive helps to cover the blood needs for our community over the July 4th holiday. Call Devorah at 419 356 5280 or email her at shalom1836@bex.net to schedule an appointment. If you are not able to donate blood, please ask a family member, friend, or neighbor to substitute for you & donate the Gift of Life. The need is great. Together, we can save many lives. An individual who saves a person’s life, is as though they have saved the entire world. Shalom.

To Schedule YOUR appointment, please call 1-800-RED CROSS or visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter code: INTERFAITH

Gala Celebration:

The 35th Annual Interfaith Blood Drive is the oldest ongoing interfaith blood drive in the nation & beyond. This blood drive has fostered positive communication, respect, & acceptance amongst people of all ethnicities, races, religions, & genders in Northwest Ohio while saving thousands of lives. Together we are going to celebrate this special milestone with a Gala celebration and an ethnic dinner (five ethnicities will delight us with their cuisine) on Sunday, June 30th, @ 5:30PM at Grace Lutheran Church. Following the dinner, a warm, hopeful, unifying program representing 8 faiths & ethnicities will regale us via the arts, song, dance, instrumentals, & special readings. A delicious ethnic dessert reception follows the program. Call your reservation to Joe Zielinski @ 419 476 4651 & leave him a message.
